WHAT TO EXPECT

If you're new to Calvary, or thinking about visiting, you may be wondering what to expect when you come. Here you'll find some answers to questions many people have about Calvary. Please contact us if you have a question that is not answered below.

WHEN DO I COME?

On Sundays, Sunday School classes for all ages begin at 9:15 AM. You can use the Sunday School Class Finder to browse Sunday School classes and get an idea of what may be right for you. When you arrive, a Deacon will welcome you and show you where you can find the classes for you and your kids.

The worship service begins at 10:30 AM. It's best to arrive a little early because the sanctuary fills up quickly.

WHAT DO I BRING?

If you have a Bible, that's all you'll need to bring with you.  The pastor teaches directly from God's Word each week, so bringing your own Bible will help you follow along.  If you don't have a Bible to bring, that's okay.  We often project the passages onto our screens, and Bibles can also be found in the pews.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

While some people do wear their "Sunday best," most people just wear casual, comfortable clothes at Calvary.  Don't worry too much about what you wear--just come expecting a great service!

WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?

During  the Sunday School hour your kids will go to an age appropriate class, you can find these classes by looking at out Kids & Students page. During the worship hour your kids can go to Children's Church.

WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?

During a service at Calvary, you can expect to worship God through singing songs, celebrating baptism, hearing God's Word preached, praying together, and giving offerings. These are the main elements of our weekly service.
